Shaman Festival
This festival is happening every after 3 years in the village of Shaa; Wangduephodrang. In this festival a man from every house hold has to represent as a Pazap (warrior) and a young girl from each house hold has to contest for the beauty of the village.
The shaman and Pazaps will perform a dance where as young girls in their best dress and ornaments holding a bowl of dried fried rice will queue up for showcase. The public here will nominate the best and the beautiful girl of the village where as Shaman and Pazabs will dance to bring peace and prosperity to village and chase away all the evils of that village.

Samtengang Winter Trek:
This trek starts from south east of Punakha and ends at Samtengang village. It is the low elevation trek for the off season in winter. The nature of Trek is easy.
We will also hike to Taktsang Monastry, visit Buddha Dordenma, Punakha Dzong and Trongsa Dzong.
Day 1:31st November 2017:
Arrive in Paro (2280 m)/ Visit Rimpung Dzong / National Museum.
Day 2:1st December 2017:
Hike to Taktsang / Visit Drugyel Dzong / Kitchu Lhakhang / Drive to Thimphu (2340 m)
Day 3:2nd December 2017: Thimphu Visit
Day 4:3rd December 2017: Drive to Punakha
Day 5:4th December 2017: Punakha Visit and start SamtenGang winter trek.
Day 6:5th December 2017: Trek from Limukha to Chhungsakha (1550 m / 14 Km / 5 hrs / 430m descent. )
Day 7 : 6th December 2017 :Trek from Chhungsakha to Samtengang ( 1830 m / 13 Km / 5 hrs. / 650 m Ascent, 270 m Descent )
Day 8 : 7th December 2017 : Attend Shaman Festival in Samtengang Village. Explore the village and interact with the people of that village.
Day 9:8th December 2017 : Drive to Phobjikha (2900 m / 65 Km / 2.30 hrs ) village via Pelela pass ( 3420 m )/
Day 10:9th December 2017 : Drive to Trongsa via chele la pass / Visit Trongsa Dzong (2180 m) / Tadzong / Chende je palace / drive to Bumthang (2580 m)
Day 11:10th December 2017: Around Bumthang.
Day 12:11th December 2017: Around Bumthang.
Day 13:12th December 2017: Drive to Thimphu
Day 14:13th December 2017: Drive to Paro for departure.

Trekking Day 2 : Trek from Limukha to Chhungsakha (1550 m / 14 Km / 5 hrs / 430m descent. )

Trekking Day 3 : Trek from Chhungsakha to Samtengang ( 1830 m / 13 Km / 5 hrs. / 650 m Ascent, 270 m Descent )
