A wonder of Bhutan includes Taktsang Monastry, Buddha Dordenma, Punakha Dzong and Trongsa Dzong which will take 10 nights and 11 days.

TAKTSANG PALPHUG MONASTERY / TIGERS NEST
This monastry is in the record of Buddhistic world which is the himalayan Buddhist sacred site and temple hanging 3120 meters on a rocky cliff above Paro valley. The monastry was reconstructed in 2005 after the fire destruction. According to Legend, Guru Padsambhava flew to this location from Tibet via Khenpajong on the back of the tigress to tame the tiger demon of that area. The tigress is Khandro Yeshey Tshogyel who transformed herself into a tigress for the purpose. Guru Padsambhava meditated for three years, three months, three weeks, three days and three hours. Many Tibetan saints and eminent figure like Langchen Pelkyi SIngye (853), Milarepa (1040-1123), Pha Dampa Sangay, Machig Labdron (1055- 1145), Thangton Gyelpo (1385- 1464) and many others came to meditate in this cave.

BUDDHA DORDENMA
It is the tallest sitting buddha in the world with the height of 169 feet (51.5 meters tall) facing the southern approach of Thimphu valley. It is made of bronze and gilded with gold. It is located in Kuenselphodrang which is the palace of 13th Desi Sherab Wangchuk. The statue will house over one hundred thousand smaller Buddha Dordenma statues.

PUNTHANG DECHEN PHODRANG
It means the palace of great happiness. This is the second oldest Dzong in Bhutan built by 1st Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel in 1637-1638. The dzong house the Bhutan's sacred relics of Tibetan Buddhism and scared relics of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel and Terton Pema Lingpa. It is located between the two rivers Pho-chu and Mo-chu and it is served as the administrative centre and the seat of the government of Bhutan till 1955 and still it is the winter residence of the central monastic body. In winter Je-khenpo resides, the religious head of Bhutan resides here in during months.

TRONGSA DZONG
Is the largest fortress located in the central Bhutan built in 1647 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel. Its archetectural grandeur is extraordinary and has maximum monasteries inside than any other dzongs in the country. It has been the seats of the Wangchuck Dynasty. The First and Second King ruled the country from this strategic position of the dzong and an important administrative building for eastern and central Bhutan.

TAMCHO IRON CHAIN BRIDGE
It was constructed by Thangtong Gyalpo (1385 -1664) who was a wonder Tibetan saint and engineer. He built 108 iron bridges throughout Bhutan and Tibet and earned a nickname Iron bridge Lama. He was the first Lama to build an iron bridge in Bhutan.

Day 5: Hike to Khamsum Yoelay Namgyel Zangdopelri / Punakha Dzong / Drive to Gangtay (2900 m)
Day 6: Visit Gangtay Lhakhang and village / drive to Trongsa via chele la pass (3420 m)
Day 7: Visit Trongsa Dzong (2180 m) / Tadzong / Chende je palace / drive to Bumthang (2580 m)
Day 8: Visit Jakar Dzong / Kurjey Dzong / Lhodrag Khachung Monastry / Wangduechholing Palace/ Jakar Village / Jambay Lhakhang / Handicraft Emporium
Day 9: Visit Tang valley and Hike to Ugyen Cholling palace
Day 10: Drive to Thimphu
Day 11: Drive to Paro for departure.

TRASHI DELEK
Day 1: Arrive in Paro (2280 m)/ Visit Rimpung Dzong / National Museum.
Arrive at Paro International Airport. you will be welcomed by our guide by offering Trashi Khadhar. We will drive to the hotel for a welcome tea and refreshment.
If time permits we will visit Paro Rimpung Dzong and National Museum and then move around the town.

Day 2: Hike to Taktsang / Visit Drugyel Dzong / Kitchu Lhakhang / Drive to Thimphu (2340 m)
After early Breakfast, we will drive 15 Km towards the north to reach the base of Taktsang Monastry. We will have to hike 2-3 hours to reach the clinging Monastry in the cliff. This Monastry is the Jewel of Bhutan and one must visit this. This is an important place of pilgrimage. According to legend Padmasambhava arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated for 3 years, 3 months and 3 weeks. After going down we will visit the ruins of Drugyel Dzong, Satsam Chorten and Kitchu Lhakhang. We will also look around the beauty of the village and town.
we will also visit Dumtse Lhakhang and Chhoeten Lhakhang and then drive to Thimphu via Tamcho Lhakhang whic is one of the wonders of Bhutan. This Lhakhang is famouse for the Iron Chain used to built bridges during the 15-16 century.

Day 3: Visit Buddha Point / Memorial Chorten / Changangkha Lhakhang / Takin Zoo / Painting School / Trashi ChhoDzong / Centenary Farming / Changlimithang Stadium / Town.
After breakfast we will visit Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma (the tallest sitting Buddha of the world ) Changangkha Lhakhang, The Takin zoo, Zulakha Nunnary, Dechen Phodrang Monastry where more than 300 small monks gets buddhist education.We will also visit Trashichhodzong followed by shopping time in the capital city in the evening.

Day 4: Visit Simtokha Dzong / Visit Dochula Pass (3140 m)/ Drive to Punakha (1250 m)
A day starts with a drive to the south of Thimphu where we will be visiting Simtokha Dzong which is the first Dzong built by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel in the 16th century. Then we will drive via Hongtsho to reach Dochula Pass ( 3140 m ). We will make circumambulation to108 chorten and visit Druk Wangyel Lhakhang. Your Guide will narrate a history of this lhakhang and chortens.
We will drive via narrow Thinleygang valley, Mitsena valley and Lobesa valley. The night will be in a home stay or Hotel in Punakha.

Day 5: Hike to Khamsum Yoelay Namgyel Zangdopelri / Punakha Dzong / Drive to Gangtay (2900 m)
A day starts with a drive through Wangdue Phodrang via chele la pass ( 3420 m ). We can view Jhomolhari Mountain, Jichu Drakey and Kangbum mountains. Then we will reach Phobjikha valley. The night will be in a home-stay in Phobjikha.

Day 6: Visit Gangtay Lhakhang and village /drive to Trongsa via chelela pass (3420 m)
A day starts with visit in the Gangtay Gompa Lhakhang. Then we will visit Wangmo Hand woven carpet factory, black backed crane information centre and we will hike around to enjoy the beauty of the village.
We will drive via chele la pass ( 3420 m ) via Chendeji Chortens to reach Trongsa. We will be welcomed by the members of Tashi Ninjay Hotel or similar.

Day 7: Visit Trongsa Dzong (2180 m) / Tadzong / Chende je palace / drive to Bumthang (2580 m)
Visit Trongsa Dzong which has formed the history of Bhutan and also our Kings has to become Trongsa Penlop before they were crowned as King of Bhutan. We will also visit Museum and other places.Then we will drive to Bumthang which is 65 Km and 2.30 Hrs. drive via Yotongla Pass and Chhumey village.

Day 8: Visit Jakar Dzong / Kurjey Dzong / Lhodrag Khachung Monastry / Wangduechholing Palace/ Jakar Village / Jambay Lhakhang / Handicraft Emporium
We will visit Bjakar Dzong, Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjay Lhakhang, Wangduechholing Palace, Yathra weaving centre and Thangbi Lhakhang.

Day 9: Visit Tang valley and Hike to Ugyen Cholling palace
Then we will drive to Tang village which is the remotest one. We will hike 17 km and 45 minutes uphill to reach Ugyen Choling Palace built by once Trongsa Penlop Deb Tsokey Dorji. The place has turned to a Museum. It provide a place for religious studies, research and solitude. Then we will hike back and drive to the hotel.

Day 10: Drive to Thimphu
After breakfast wew ill drive from Bumthang to Thimphu which is a tiring journey. The night will be in a hotel in Thimphu.

Day 11: Drive to Paro International Airport for departure.
